We're excited to announce that GoCo will be hosting our first-ever Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on May 6th and 7th, 2021.
In keeping with GoCo’s mission of empowering HR professionals, our entire team is excited to work together over 36 hours to build solutions aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for small businesses.
If you're not familiar with hackathons, basically it's an opportunity for people to get together and build technology for a common-purpose. At GoCo, we're all about helping HR make a difference in the workplace, and right now HR professionals are being called on to make profound and meaningful changes to combat racism and inequities at work. We're hosting this event because our whole team is passionate about creating apps and resources to facilitate that change.
GoCo Hackathon teams include members from every department, including marketing, sales, business, client success, product and engineering. Submissions will be judged on creativity, collaboration, execution, and community impact.
Each team will be playing for prize money to be donated at their nonprofits of their choice, including:
Teams will present their projects on Monday, May 10th, to an esteemed panel of judges, including:
